Dave Shakespeare
Dave grew up not far from Kanab in Cannonville, Utah. And actually his younger years was living in Kane county in Kodachrome State Park, where his dad was the Park Ranger. After marrying his wife, Kelly, she took him back East to VA for work and an adventure while he was in undergrad school. There he attended and graduated from VCU pharmacy school in Richmond, Virginia with a Pharm-D degree. Afterwards he moved to Lehi, UT, where he worked for, opened a store, and managed a Walgreens pharmacy for four years. During this time he found the opportunity to purchase Kanab Drug, and continue the business built by locals over 100 years ago, in 1916. Dave and his family love calling Kanab home and serving their community through pharmacy. Based on this they built a new, more convenient, full service pharmacy with a larger gift store and brought back the Soda Fountain idea from the original Kanab Drug.
Scott Thomas
Scott grew up in a little town in the mountains of south east Idaho called Grace. He attended ISU right out of high school and soon made it into the ISU college of pharmacy. He started working as an intern at the Walmart pharmacy where he met his wife Caitlin. They were married in St. George, UT and had wanted to move back ever since. When he graduated pharmacy school with his Pharm-D degree, he was hired to manage a independent pharmacy in Ketchum, ID. He later returned to Walmart Pharmacy in Chubbuck, ID for 7 more years. Now he has moved to Kanab with his family to be part of the Kanab Drug team and part of the Kanab community! We are glad to have Scott working with the Kanab Drug team!
